Al-Quds Bard College seeks a full-time faculty member starting in the fall 2020 semester in the B.A. program in Human Rights and International Law, the only one of its kind among Palestinian Universities.

The program is broadly interdisciplinary, fosters diverse perspectives, and welcome critical approaches to human rights discourse as well as practical engagements with global civil society.  Frequently taught topics include freedom of expression, the politics of human rights, transitional justice, human rights and media, and human rights theory. The successful candidate will teach core courses in the program, such as Introduction to Human Rights, History of Human Rights, and Public and International Law, as well as elective courses in his or her specialty.
