Ali Nasser was born in Israel in the Galilee in a small village called Arraba, which is now the biggest village in the holy land. He studied drama in the Russian capital and went on to direct documentaries such as Nedaa al-Ard- The Call of the Land and Hekayat Madena Ala al-Shatea- Story of a Seaside City, gained his great reputation after The Babysitter and then won his first prize in the Jerusalem festival for The Milky Way. After that he scored another hit, In the Ninth Month which received great acclaim from the media and critics, winning in several festivals around the globe and nationally too. Director and producer Ali Nassar is now one of the most respective directors in the Arab world.
