Oscar Monterde

Oscar Monterde is PhD student at University of Barcelona, carrying out the doctoral dissertation about “The humanitarian impact on the occupied territories in Gaza and the West Bank”. He is researcher affiliate at the International Center for Historical Studies of University of Barcelona, part of the research group GRANMA (Grupo de Investigación y Análisis del Mundo Actual), and professor assistant at University of Barcelona in Contemporary History department. From March to July 2012 he was a visiting fellow at Center for Palestine Studies at Columbia University, and from September to December 2013 he was a visiting fellow at Graduate Institute Geneva. He also collaborates with research projects of the International Catalan Institute for Pace.
