Dr. Noemi Artal, a former Visiting Scholar at Center for Palestine Studies and a Palestinian Film expert is a curator of a yearly Palestinian Film Festival in Madrid. This past academic year, Dr. Noemi Artal, of Madrid, was a Visiting Scholar at the Center for Palestine Studies. A noted expert on Palestinian film, Dr. Artal during her months at the center conducted research for a comprehensive annotated filmography, which she then published on the CPS website. She also is the organizer of an important Palestinian film festival held annually in Madrid. The 2013 program ran from November 22 to December 8.
