Mohammed Al-Sawalmeh was born in Palestine in 1955. After graduating with a Masters Degree in Movie Directing. In 1980, Al-Sawalmeh worked at the Palestinian Cinema Institution from 1980-1994 in Lebanon,Tunisia, and Moscow. He returned to the Palestinian Territories as a result of the Oslo Peace Agreement. There he worked on establishing the first Palestinian TV Channel.
As a free lancer Al-Sawalmehwrote and directed several documentaries. From 1996-2002 he worked as head of the Documentary Film Department in Palestine. He has created more than 15 documentaries In 2004-2005 he graduated from Westervelt College with a Diploma in Internet Graphic Design. Mohammed has been working and living in Canada since 2002.
