Please join us for the launch of Dr. Hatim Kanaaneh's new short-story collection, Chief Complaint: A Country Doctor's Tales of Life in Galilee.

Dr. Hatim Kanaaneh, a Palestinian doctor, writer, and activist who has for 35 years worked in providing health care to Palestinians living in the Galilee. He is co-founder of the Galilee society, a medical health and research NGO, and author of the accalimed memoir, A Doctor in Galilee: The Life and Struggle of a Palestinian in Israel

Moderated by Moustafa Bayoumi, Professor of English, Brooklyn College.

 

Chief Complaint has attracted warm endorsements from figures like writers Ghada Karmi and Susan Abulhawa, Nazareth-based journalist Jonathan Cook, and mind/body expert Dr. Bessel Van der Kolk.
