My Jerusalem: Tense Politics of the Everyday with Nadera Shalhoub-Kevorkian
Professor Nadera Shalhoub-Kevorkian is the author, most recently, of Militarization and Violence against Women in Conflict Zones in the Middle East: A Palestinian Case Study (2009).
She is senior lecturer in both the Faculties of Law and Social Work at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and is Director of the Gender Studies Program at Mada al-Carmel, in Haifa. She has been a Visiting Professor in the Faculty of Law at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles and in 2008, she was awarded the Women's Rights Prize by the Gruber Foundation. She is a scholar, activist, and therapist concerned with violence, trauma, and abuse. She lives in Jerusalem.
