Ibrahim Abu-Lughod Award in Palestine Studies
We are pleased to announce the competition for the 2024-2025 Ibrahim Abu-Lughod Postdoctoral Award in Palestine Studies!
This year-long post-doctoral fellowship recognizes and fosters innovative and ground-breaking scholarship on issues related to Palestine and Palestinians. The competition is open to post-doctoral scholars who share the mission of the Center for Palestine Studies to advance the production and circulation of knowledge on Palestinian history, culture, society, and politics through outstanding scholarship.
The IAL Award carries a stipend of $53,288 for the academic year (a nine month appointment). The fellow must have a PhD in hand by June 2024.
Only complete applications with supporting documents and references will receive full consideration. Special consideration will be given this cycle to projects that focus on Gaza.
Applications are due on 4 March 2024.
